C01 – Tour or safari operators

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration/incorporation
2. CR 12 and or/ID copy of the directors
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Professional Certificates of person running the enterprises
5. Vehicle Logbook copies and or/ contract of hire of vehicles from a licensed company
6. Insurance copies
7. Title deed/Lease agreement for the office accommodation
8. Entry /work permit in case of foreign ownership
9. Evidence of base of at least USD 100,000 in case of foreign ownership

C02– Tourist Service Vehicle Hire

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration/incorporation
2. CR 12 and or ID copy of the directors
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Work permit for non-Kenyan directors
5. Vehicle Logbook copies
6. Vehicle Insurance copies

C03 – Local Air Charter

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration
2. CR 12 and or ID copy of the directors
3. Work Permit for non- Kenyans
4. Insurance for the aircrafts
5. Certificate of air worthiness
6. Title deed/Lease agreement for the office accommodation
7. Evidence of base of at least USD 100,000 in case of foreign ownership

C04 – Travel Agency

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration/incorporation
2. CR 12 for companies and/ or ID copy of the directors/owner
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Entry /work permit in case of foreign owners
5. Professional certificates of the person running the enterprise
6. Title deed/Lease agreement for the office accommodation
7. Evidence of base of at least USD 100,000 in case of foreign ownership

C05 – Water Sports

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration
2. CR 12 for companies and /or ID copy of the directors/owner
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Insurance cover for all vessels
5. Certificate of sea worthiness
6. Professional certificate for the operators

C06 – Balloon Operators

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration
2. CR 12 for companies and /or ID copy of the directors/owner
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Entry /work permit non Kenyan directors
5. Insurance cover for the balloons
6. Certificate of airworthiness
7. Professional certificate for the balloon launchers

C06 – Boat excursions

Requirements

1. Certificate of registration
2. CR 12 for companies and/or ID copy of the directors/owner
3. KRA PIN Certificate of the tourism enterprise
4. Entry /work permit non Kenyan directors
5. Coxswain Certificate
6. Insurance cover for the vessels
7. Certificate of sea worthiness
